When my second child was just 6 months old and my oldest was 3, I took a leap of faith. Instead of returning to nursing, I opened a home daycare so I could stay home with my children.

What followed were 18 incredible years filled with laughter, creativity, lifelong friendships, and the privilege of caring for so many amazing children and their families. There were challenges, but what stays with me is the magic we created together.

Three years ago, I retired from daycare to pursue photography full-time, and I have no regrets. But every now and then, I miss those busy mornings and the joy of watching little ones learn and grow.

This weekend, we held our 3rd Summer Solstice Daycare reunion. Seeing everyone together again was pure magic—and the evening ended with a double rainbow. 🌈🌈

To every family, child, and incredible woman who was part of this journey: thank you. You helped shape one of the most meaningful chapters of my life. ❤️
